What we collect
- Account. You sign in with Google (via Supabase Auth). We store your account identifier and email to authenticate you.
- Documents. PDFs you open with Plum are uploaded to be processed and made searchable. Files are deduplicated by content hash, so an identical document is only processed once and linked to your library.
- Billing. If you subscribe, payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details, only your subscription status.
- Usage. We keep basic operational logs (for example, request counts and quotas) to run the service reliably.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to run Plum: Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage), Stripe (billing), and cloud infrastructure for document processing and AI features. Your document text may be sent to an AI provider to answer your queries. We do not sell your data.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your account and associated documents by contacting us. Because documents are shared canonically across accounts by content hash, deletion removes your link to a document and your copy where it is not referenced by others.
